Below are musical excerpts from films and multimedia pieces I’ve worked on. I’ve really enjoyed working with filmmakers and visual artists as it adds a new dimension to the compositional experience.

She and I have collaborated on a number of multimedia pieces over the years. Chaosmos is a meditative website that is designed for interaction (requires Shockwave Player). The screenshot above shows the website. The spheres randomly drift around the space and as they encounter the cursor, they turn red and a sound clip plays. I composed the background drone music and the individual clips to work together; you can trigger sound by moving the cursor over the spheres yourself or you can simply sit and watch the space make music. Also it is a fun game to try to move the cursor through the space without contacting any of the spheres... The vocals are by my talented wife, actor Dana Case. -William Bradbury

Please feel free to add a comment on the Feedback/Contact page.

Click here for the Chaosmos website (requires Macromedia Shockwave Player). I worked on this with Chris Pyle, a very talented filmmaker living in San Diego who has a passion for the wilds and for the Anza Borrego Desert in particular. His cinematography is amazing and writing music for the film was a great experience. Chris would give me sections of the film as it was being completed and I composed music to picture. The motive in the trumpet and the chord progression in the strings recur in variation in other sections of the film. Anza Borrego: Seasons in the Desert is available on DVD through www.desertusa.com (click for description of how the film was made and a video excerpt).

Please feel free to add a comment on the Feedback/Contact page.
